Hunting Evolution sets: The Conqueror Sets (blue)

The blue Conqueror armour set is required to Evolve a card from *** (green) to **** (blue).  As a result you need a LOT of sets of this armour.



There are specific lower level Normal dungeons with a (supposedly) higher chance for these items to drop.  These are listed below.  Note that there is no guarantee that a piece will drop but if armour does drop from any trash MOB during the battle it will be the piece listed.

Helm:
The Garden - Thornboar Guard or Goolug

Chest:
The Garden - Thornboar Warlock or Sharpside

Gloves:
Throne Room - The Watchdog or Battle of Spells

Waist:
Throne Room - Arcane Mage or Blood Mage

Boots:
Throne Room - Throne Room Army or Throne Room Guardian

Alternatively it is possible to use Auto Fight farming to generate exp in higher level Normal dungeons and pick up armour pieces at the same time.  Just use Auto Fight on the first mission of the highest level dungeon in the list below which drops the piece you want, or choose the correct mission in The Dark Hold:

The Dark Hold - 1st mission: Helm / 2nd mission: Chest / 3rd mission: Gloves / 4th mission: Waist / 5th mission: Boots
Lava Lake - Helm
Mausoleum - Boots
Dusk Town - Waist
Dead Cavern - Gloves
Phoenix Valley - Chest
Dark Dungeons - Helm
Psychic - Boots
Seturmoen - Waist
Dark Entrance - Gloves
Dark Crag - Chest
Cathedral - Helm

I believe Cathedral is the cut-off point below which you start to receive items from the green Protector armour set instead.  Above Dark Hold it also switches back to the green Protector armour for a while too.

Subjectively, it feels like drop rates are better in the higher level dungeons so farm the hardest dungeon you can!

I always seem to be low on waistguard. Scarlet Bloodmage on normal worked like a charm. Even got 3 in one run! Thanks for this guide Andy.

This guide is way better than the one on the Appgoer site. I waisted 3 APs to get blue gloves... and than i read this post..

Appsgoer has great info but it's really spread out and not always easy to find.  And with so much info there it must be hellishly hard to try to keep it all up to date.
