10) Overview - Flameheart (Upper)

This post assumes that you've read the others in this series, tried your hand at the easier raids first and are now a bit of a veteran.  It aims to provide you with information on each wave of this guild dungeon so that you can formulate a plan that works for you.  It doesn't tell you exactly what to do!

Where there are "known" setups that are fairly successful against a given wave, these are noted.

Rewards

Placing 1st will win you a Life Cloak.
Placing 2nd or 3rd will win you a random piece of Leader's armour.
The death of Salifou, Kulehman and Eckertus will also send a random piece of Leader's armour to Auction for people to bid on.
The death of Raga Ross will send a Life Cloak to Auction or, very rarely, a Pioneer Ring.

Wave start: 100%
Boss only: ~95%
Wave end: ~76%

A boss wave comprised of Salifou and two minions, all dealing physical damage.

Normal attack (minions): ~15,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (minions): Hits single target, ~15,000 damage, every 4th round

Normal attack (boss): ~51,000 damage
Normal attack critical hits (boss): 110,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (boss): Hits two random targets, ~44,000 damage, every 8th round
Initiative skill critical hits (boss): ~95,000 damage

Recommended leader skill: Defensive Experience

Successful purple+3 formation while minions are alive:
Druid, MT, Empty
Shaman, Female Druid, Cannon Lady

Druid, MT, Empty
Shaman, Miss, Cannon Lady

Successful purple+3 formation once minions are dead:
Druid, MT, Empty
Rogue, Female Druid, Thief

Characteristics:

Wave start: ~76%
Boss only: ~58%
Wave end: ~48%

A boss wave comprised of Kulehman and four minions, all dealing magical damage.

Normal attack (back row minions): ~20,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (back row minions): Hits everyone, ~9,000 damage, every 4th round
Normal attack (front row minions): ~25,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (front row minions): Hits front row, ~20,000 damage, every 4th round

Normal attack (boss): ~15,000 damage (~12,000 against BB with Qriest MDEF synergy)
Initiative skill attack (boss): Hits single target, ~15,000 damage, every 8th round
Critical hits (boss): ~30,000 damage

Recommended leader skill: Magic Refuge

This wave is pretty painful until you pull down at least one of the minions.  Once he is alone though, this boss is as easy as they come.

Suggested purple+3 formation while minions are alive:
Lady, BB, Empty
Qriest, Thief, WL

Successful purple+3 formation once minions are dead:
DPS, Lady, DPS
DPS, DPS, Empty

Characteristics:

Wave end: ~45%

A trash wave comprised of four magical damage dealers.

Normal attack (back row): ~25,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (back row): Hits single target, ~35,000 damage, every 4th round
Normal attack (front row): ~15,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (front row): Hits front row, ~10,000 damage, every 4th round

Recommended leader skill: Magic Refuge

Successful purple+3 formation:
Empty, BB, Lady
Shaman, Qriest, Cannon Lady

Characteristics:

Wave start: ~45%
Boss only: ~34%
Wave end: ~25%

A boss wave comprised of Eckertus and four minions, all dealing physical damage.

Normal attack (back row minions): ~25,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (back row minions): Hits everyone, ~10,000 damage, every 4th round
Normal attack (front row minions): ~25,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (front row minions): Hits single target, ~25,000 damage, every 4th round
Minion critical hits (all minions): ~44,000 damage

Normal attack (boss): ~20,000 damage (~15,000 against BB or MT with their passive skills)
Initiative skill attack (boss): Hits everyone, ~20,000 damage, every 10th round
Critical hits (boss): Massive - OHK even on MT

Suggested purple+3 formations while minions are alive:
Empty, MT, Druid
Miss, Cannon Lady, Qriest

Initiative skill attack (back row orange elemental): Hits everyone, ~10,000 damage, every 4th round
Normal attack (front row Beast lookalikes): ~15,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (front row Beast lookalikes): Hits front row, ~15,000 damage, every 4th round

Empty, BB, Lady
Shaman, Qriest, Cannon Lady

Boss only: ~18%
Wave end: 0%

A boss wave comprised of Raga Ross and two minions, all dealing magical damage.

Normal attack (minions): ~15,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (minions): Hits single target, ~15,000 damage, every 4th round

Normal attack (boss): Hits three random targets, ~20,000 damage
Initiative skill attack (boss): Hits everyone, ~20,000 damage, every 10th round
Critical hits (boss): ~40,000 damage

Recommended leader skill: Survival Instinct (stacked if possible) or Magic Refuge (stacked if possible)

Suggested purple+3 formation while minions are alive:
Druid or FD, Miss, Lady
Cannon Lady, President, Empty

Suggested purple+3 formations once minions are dead:
